3 more sleeps

Well as the title says really, just 3 more sleeps till I jet off, sorted the freezers out, filled the cupboards with goodies and delights for them whilst I am away, they'll probably eat take away anyway... Scrubbed and cleaned all night and day, got washer woman's hands now!! Doesn't seem enough hours in the day, oh well. RD is coming with me to Heathrow on Thur, or so he says, this will be until they offer him a shift that night of course, RM can't come she's in Nottingham on a course all week, and I'd rather her complete it as she seems to be enjoying it. Right now I could fall asleep standing, but I'm trying to fight it so that I am tired enough to sleep on the flight, anything that will take my mind off feeling trapped whilst in the air. Ipod is full of music so hopefully that will pass sometime. Ive kinda got a bet on that I get at next to some bore on the flight, I just hope it isnt some screaming kid...

Sabotaged

I'ver been right royally sabotaged, fri night was the staff meal, managed to get away with only 2 courses, of course it was 2 of the most fattening types, went on a training course on Saturday about Diversity and Inclusion, nice hotel in Louth ( had to take sat nav to find it) but it was coffee and cream all day, danish pastries in the morn, banquet at lunch and damn cream scones in the afty....grrrrrrrrr and my willpower....well it just upt and walked out the door :(
Had a very tearful day yesterday, just comes on unexpectedly, probably the stress of it all, rang the family to say bye, mum seems ok so no worries there and she goes to Benidorm on tues, rang Stephen to check he's ok as he's ill, just wanted him to know I care, I miss not having my family around me now. I know Cheshire and Shropshire aren't far away, but you can't just go for a chat when you need someone to talk to
Anyway 4 days to go!! Emma's added a few more bits to my shopping list.... cadburys mini eggs... dunno if they are for Shannon or if she has a craving...can't get all her stuff in my case so will post some on Mon.
Lorraines back from her latest hol, and we are hoping to walk this morn, but its a bit brrrrrrrrrrrr at the moment.
Right I better head off got washing and ironing to do....and suitcase to repack, the new slim me has been wearing the new clothes....

well... dunno what to say, so close to the trip and there nearly wasnt one, went to pick up RM's present before I left, as I won't be here for her bday, and I nearly went head on into a big truck like thing, thank god I wasn't going fast, it had just pulled out from a delivery at top tesco, dont think it saw me as it swung out, my heart went into my mouth, and I slid a to middle of the road as I braked, made me cry thats for sure, had to sit and stop shaking before I could carry on... Thats all I needed to happen !!

Got the new itinery letter and both Emma & Libby have left msgs on email and icq, it's 7days till I go....need to seriously get work caught up and get the house straight before I go.
Not really looking forward to what I have to return to either :(

Looked into whats in the Brisbane area and it seems its kinda/sorta near the Australian Zoo, Steve Irwins Zoo, the kids will be pig sick if I arrange to go there, they grew up loving his Crocodile Hunter TV shows, will ask Valerie if its feasable to go there in the time.









Haircut tomorrow, gotta let em see us brits looking good, or as Libby calls us "stinky poms"and a meal out for work before I go.

Nervous and apprehensive about the trip, counted my dosh last night, pitiful, £21 a day to spend, not a lot to buy my Kangaroo Burgers with...YUKKKKKKKKKKK thought maybe I should try and sell my body at the Stonebow, but Yvette thinks I'd have to pay them haha

Lost the letter that I'm supposed to take to the airport instead of tickets, rang to tell the travel company and they promised to resend, but nothings here yet :( Came down with a rotten stinking cold at the weekend, and can't seem to shift it, yesterday got home from work and spent most of it in bed trying to sweat it out.... woke up this am and it's still here.... :(
Popped to fat club just to get weighed, expected a gain with all the stress of the week, but nope... another 1 and half pounds shifted :) I am now in the last full week of dieting prior to flying, so going to make a huge effort this week to have good one in time for my last weigh in.
No sign of Libby or Emma again.
Hope they have sunshine..........It's snowing here in UK ....it's very very odd weather

Climb booked :)

Well its 11 days now and today I booked the climb, can't wait to wear this boiler suit !!
Climbing 16th April 2.15 pm.... Apparently the only weather they dont climb in is electrical storms....thank goodness for that!
Libby keeps leaving msgs asking if I am looking forward to the Snakes, spiders, sharks ... I think we are going to get along well, even though we've never met we have similar humour, not bad for a foreigner hahah.
Mothers Day here today, and RM bought me some lovely slip-on shoes, bit of a surprise, RD is coming back from uni today sometimes, so we'll all be back together, RD will be home now till after Easter......oh joy....mess :(
Well thats it for today I'm off out in the garden to get the rest of it sorted before I go

14 days to go

Well in 2 weeks time I will be on my way to Heathrow at this time, and to be honest I am bricking it now :( Part of the me is soooo excited, but I am struggling to cope at work, I've not yet caught up with my paperwork and I need to do it before I go...stress stress stress

And no costume or bikini yet....!!!

wow what a few days

Is it really 3 days since I typed, well lets see, and what a weird weekend, shock revelation on Sunday , and its made me decisive enough to book the flight to see Valerie, it's obvious now I'll never get to go there again so I need to make the most of this trip, and Uncle Ray thinks Dad would be pleased we are going to meet, so I fly to Brisbane on the 5th and fly back to Melbourne on the 7th, i have absolutely no idea what Brisbane has to offer...but what the heck...just go and enjoy the experience!!
As for the weight, well today was weigh in day ........and another 3 and half pounds, thats a total of 21lbs so far!!

challenge for this week is to get a costume or bikini, Bondi beach here comes the slim me

Advice

Finally got round to asking the people on the forums for advice, so now I need to be sure I drink plenty of fluids and try and get a bulkhead or exit seat. Went looking for a bikini or costume today, and came back with a very feminine cardi, and a nice blouse...haha oh well at least it wasn't yet another pair of shoes. Caught Libby online, and seem all systems go on the Sydney leg of the journey, she's said we can definately go to Canberra for the day its about 3 1/2 hours drive, I was dead chuffed I want to see as much as I can, also we are going to see an Anzac march, so I'll pack the medals I think. Emma came online too and looks like Paul is coming to fetch me, which is good, I worried about dragging her and shannon out of bed so early, and Pauls a pussycat so no worries there. she's fine about me disappearing if I head to see Valerie, just waiting onValerie to get back in touch...

All I can think about is my trip...I've so much more to sort before then...at home and at work!!

Car passed it's MOT !!!!! with very little prob, just brakes adjusting etc, well chuffed, I like my little car. Decided to treat myself to the Lounge area at Heathrow as it appears I'm only getting dropped off at the Airport and not going to have company long to pass the time, never been in one before but think it'll be nice treat as I'm going to be alone. Still debating whether to put the flight to Brisbane on my credit card and deal with paying off when I get back, I'll never get the chance to travel up there again will I !! Got a nice comment at work today that my legs are much slimmer and shapely...oooerr so I wiggled my slimmer backside at them...and got no comment.... well I think its smaller anyway... more walking for the next 3 weeks
Been a really good day today, less stressful at work and the weathers been nice too. Went shopping and only went and left my credit card in a shop doh !! went back for it of course once i realised where. Well thats it for today.... heading out

Just got back from fat club 3 and half pounds lighter !!! .... total 17 and half pounds

Priced up flights from Melbourne to Brisbane it would be £205 : ( and return flights from Sydney to Brisbane would be £114 : ( Looks like I cant afford to get to see my cousinValerie. finances take it out of my control
Maybe I should just win the lottery, if I bought a ticket I might have a chance. Cars gone for it's MOT and I don't expect that to pass.
